My first journal entry...

About time after 7 years I would say

I'm not really a diary writer so I often find it hard to find something to say. I've been using DeviantArt for 7 years now. At first I only registered, because I loved to browse the galleries and collect favourites... usually photography and fanart of my favourite books and movies.
Then I got a premium account, because I was collecting too many favourites

Eventually I started posting my own work. I'm not really sure why it took me so long to do that, because I used to have my own website with drawings and photos long before joining DA.
But then I still had been scanning and posting my analogue photos and I had lost interest in taking photos for a time when everyone started switching to digital photography.

I'm very happy that I regained that interest, at first through taking photos of my hounds and eventually of landscapes and places I was visiting again.

So during the last 2-3 years I've been posting more and more of my stuff, I sorted it into categories and I even scanned and posted  most of my old drawings and paintings.

Now I've decided to also give up the blog I had been writing for some time and put everything on DeviantArt which includes my songs and poems, crafts and eventually also my old analogue photos.

I had started ocarina making as well and hope to do that some in the future. I intend to transfer my blog posts about my first attempts to this journal as well.
